Experienced Inspectors Ensuring Seamless Cargo Handling

Port Hunter Environmental (pHE) has a team of experienced Commodity Inspectors who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to oversee the loading or unloading of your next cargo through the Port of Newcastle.

Our inspectors are experienced in overseeing commodities, such as:

  • Wheat,
  • Durum Wheat,
  • Sorghum,
  • Soybean Meal (SBM),
  • Poultry Meal,
  • Soda Ash, and
  • Coal.

pHE will tailor inspections and activities around each clients needs to ensure the level of coverage required is achieved.

pHE’s inspectors are experienced at collecting samples at the discharge facilities and can collect and dispatch samples from both grain export terminals. pHE inspectors have access to both coal terminals at the port and work with the independent coal laboratories to observe outbound sample collection, sample preparation, total moisture determination and the building of ship composite samples.
